Account Information When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely stored password.
Onboarding and Personal Content To personalize your experience, we collect information you provide during onboarding, including your name, personal transformations, feelings, mantras, and timeline preferences. We also store any journal entries you write within the app.
Photos If you choose to add a profile photo or "dream life" photos, these are stored securely and used only to generate personalized captions and display them within your own account.
Subscription and Payment Information Payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. AVA does not directly collect or store your payment card details. Subscription status is managed through Apple and RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.
Usage Information We may collect basic technical information about how you use the app (such as which screens you visit) to help us maintain and improve the app.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide and personalize the AVA experience, including generating daily messages, affirmations, and photo captions
Maintain your account and subscription
Send you scheduled notifications you have enabled
Improve and maintain the app
Third-Party Services
AVA uses the following third-party services to operate:
Supabase — for secure account authentication and data storage
Anthropic (Claude API) — to generate personalized text content
RevenueCat and Apple — to manage subscriptions and payments
OpenAI — to generate audio narration of journal entries you choose to saveThese providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy and security practices.
Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored securely. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Your Choices
You can update or delete your personal information at any time from within the app's settings. If you would like your account and associated data fully deleted, please contact us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
AVA is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
